St Nicholas Day

It has been so fun to carry on Dutch traditions with Rebekah. On St. Nicholas' Day, Bekah woke up to find her wooden shoes filled with gifts outside her bedroom door. This Fall I have been working on a book for my family that highlights the history of St. Nicholas' Day and how the Dutch celebrate. I have included a bit of our family history, family photos, and family recipes. I can't wait to have the project done and use the book to pass on our traditions to our children and grandchildren.
