12 Days at the Boslets

Nelson surprised my family by composing a song for them called "The 12 Days with the Boslets" (sung to the tune of The 12 Days of Christmas). It was a huge hit and got a ton of laughs. We ended up doing all of the things listed in the song, so I tried to get pictures of all of them, but unfortunatley missed a few. Below you can see a video of the end of the song.

Lyrics
On the first day at the Boslets, Karina gave to me: heartburn and gas induced by pregnancy
On the second day at the Boslets, Amber gave to me: two darling nieces
On the third day at the Boslets, Andy gave to me: three games of shuffleboard
On the fourth day at the Boslets, Dakota (parents' dog) gave to me: a four mile Turtle Rock hike
On the fifth day at the Boslets, Jacquie gave to me: Five Kinds of Coffee
On the sixth day at the Boslets, Abby gave to me: six laps around Balboa (pics of Balboa ferry below)

On the seventh day at the Boslets, John gave to me: seven games of HORSE

On the eighth day at the Boslets, Emmie gave to me: eight trips to In and Out
On the ninth day at the Boslets, Joelle gave to me: nine gluten-free snacks
On the tenth day at the Boslets, Bekah gave to me: ten duffy boat rides (pics below)

On the eleventh day at the Boslets, Jim gave to me: eleven fantasy football players
On the twelfth day at the Boslets, the Boslets gave to me: twelve massive dinner parties

SO FUN to see these pics! What a great Christmas in CA! I loved seeing pictures of your family...and I was a bit jealous of the shorts, capris...and sweaters worn for STYLE instead of FUNCTION. :) So glad you got good family time.

I loved Nelson's song...it inspired me to trim down the number of Christmas pics on our blog and put a catchy tune with them. He's so creative--and funny! I bet you were all in stitches.

Your little girl is darling, and your little tummy is SO CUTE! I can't wait to meet this little guy!

All our love to you, Bells! (We thought of you every time we heard the carol, "Christmas BELLS are Ringing!") XOXO--Le and fam
