Simple Pleasures

Rebekah becomes more and more animated each day. Recently, she has developed a fake laugh that she uses to get attention - so adorable. I love how she laughs and find pleasure out of the simplest and littlest things like our dog Harley and feet. She finds feet hilarious and always starts giggling when we show her our toes.

Little Miss Hollywood

This week, we have been spending a lot of time outside in the water. On Monday, Rebekah had her friend, Mateo, over to play in our little inflatable pool in the backyard and then on Tuesday we met Rebekah's new friends, Isabella and Anya, at the pool. I wish that I was better about taking pictures of Bekah with her friends, but I always seem to forget until afterwards when we are home along. With all of the sun, I finally found Rebekah some sunglasses. So hear are some pictures of our litte Miss Hollywood.

She does not keep the sunglasses on long before she takes them off.

Backyard Pool Fun

When my friend, Jamie, first found out I was pregnant, she gave me a baby pool for our backyard to remind me of all of our fun pool times we had growing up. Today Rebekah turned 10 months old, and we finally blew up the baby pool. She had a great time splashing and playing in the water. Being that it was such a hot day, I wish that there was enough room in the pool for me to fit in it with her.

Smiles, smiles, smiles

Rebekah's smile continues to make my heart melt and make me smile. Her pure joy is such a delight. As Rebekah grows, she continues to be such a happy and easygoing baby. Here are some recent pictures of our bundle of joy!

Surprise Visit

Our niece, Emily Anna, was born on Tuesday, June 30. Nelson, Bekah and I had already planned to go meet Emily at the end of July, but I could not stand not seeing my little niece and my sister! So on Wednesday night, I booked a ticket to surprise my sister and meet Emily. I flew to CA on Saturday morning and stayed for 30 hours. Amberley was totally shocked by my arrival. It was such a special time to get to hug my sister, snuggle with Emily, catch up with my brother-in-law, run around with Abby (their daughter who is 2) and see my parents. Nelson had daddy-daughter time with Bekah while I was gone. I am so grateful that I got to go and can't wait for our visit at the end of this month where we get to go as a family to CA for a week. Emily Anna is beautiful!!! Another treat was that my dear friend, Kelly, had her baby while I was in CA. So I got to meet Issac Eric on Sunday before I flew back to NM. What a whirlwind of a trip!

Emily Anna Wolf

We are excited to announce the arrival of Rebekah's cousin, Emily Anna Wolf. She was born yesterday evening. My sister and baby are doing great. We hear that she has a head full of jet black hair. We are dying to meet her!!! At the end of the month, we will be spending a week in CA getting to know our little niece. Hopefully, we will have some pictures to post soon.

Ready to walk?

Our little Bekah Boo loves to stand. She just figured out that she can stand up against things like the couch. One of her favorite things to do is to grab your pointer fingers and then walk up your body until she reaches your face. Sometimes she even likes to walk on your face. :)

Playing with one of her favorite toys - her daddy's silver rattle from when he was a baby.

Belated Father's Day

Since we were in Sedona over Father's Day, I decided to celebrate Father's Day for Nelson this past Sunday instead. I made a couple of his favorite things - cinnamon rolls and chocolate cake (my man has a sweet tooth!). We also went to the Botanic Gardens and Aquarium.
